A Lasting Impact

Started in 2021, the Sarasota County Gator Club Teachers of Distinction program was designed to allow our annual scholarship winners the ability to recognize an educator who has made a significant impact on them throughout their educational journey.  Each year, scholarship winners are asked to name one educator and we recognize them with a framed certificate, the message the student wrote about them, and an email to them with their principal copied.  The teacher and student are both invited to the Scholarship Recipient in June as well to be celebrated together as they are both impacting UF.
